Information for NDIS Self-Managed Participants

Updated 14th July, 2026

At Invisibly Brilliant, we welcome self-managed NDIS participants seeking Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy services.

We provided a specialised service for people living with complex chronic health conditions including ME/CFS, Long COVID, POTS, hypermobility, persistent pain, fibromyalgia, and related conditions.

Our approach

At Invisibly Brilliant, our high-quality allied health care extends well beyond the time spent together in an appointment.

Every consultation includes dedicated clinical work before and after your session. This may include reviewing your history, preparing for your appointment, documenting clinical findings, developing or progressing your exercise program, communicating with your treating team where appropriate, and planning your ongoing care.

Rather than separating these components, our appointment structure reflects the total clinician time dedicated to your care.

Appointment Structure

Our appointment lengths remain the same; however, the time billed to your NDIS plan manager reflects the total clinical time required to deliver your care.

  • Initial consultation = 60 minutes (75 minutes billed to plan manager)

  • Subsequent consultation = 60 minutes (75 minutes billed to plan manager)

  • Subsequent consultation = 30 minutes (40 minutes billed to plan manager)

This structure applies to both Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy services for all plan-managed NDIS participants.

What does this include?

The total clinical time dedicated to your care may include:

  • Reviewing your referral, medical history and previous notes

  • Preparing for your consultation

  • Delivering your appointment

  • Clinical documentation

  • Developing or updating your exercise or rehabilitation program

  • Communication with your treating team where appropriate

  • Clinical planning to support your ongoing goals

The exact activities undertaken will vary depending on your individual needs.

Our Commitment

Our goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed and individualised care that supports meaningful progress over time.

This appointment structure allows our clinicians to dedicate the time required to prepare thoroughly, communicate effectively and provide the level of care that our clients have come to expect.

If you have any questions about our NDIS appointment structure, we're always happy to discuss it with you before your first appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is more time billed than the appointment length?

Your appointment includes both the time spent with your clinician and additional clinical work completed before and after your session. This ensures your care is well prepared, documented and individualised.

Does this apply to all NDIS participants?

This billing structure applies to plan-managed NDIS participants receiving Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy services through Invisibly Brilliant.

Can I discuss this before booking?

Absolutely. If you have any questions about our appointment structure or billing, please contact our team at admin@invisiblybrilliant.com.au and we'll be happy to help.
